The Visitor
Bring a possibility. Leave a connection.
Character study 10 · a guest, becoming familiar
“What is ordinary to you
may be exactly what
someone else is missing.”
A travelling stall. A satchel that needs mending. A bell with a story still to tell. The Visitor brings possibilities from elsewhere—and stays long enough to listen.
New character concept · portrait and playable NPC introduction. The first animated 3D Visitor is at the Fair Exchange quay. Use “Look closer · Visitor” to meet him.

XO Harbor · Character 10
Bring a possibility. Leave a connection.
The role at the table
The Visitor gives Harbor a way to welcome an unfamiliar object, maker or place. Each return can bring another small story. His first encounter is A Fair Exchange: the value of an object changes when you understand what someone needs.
As an NPC, he offers the bell and asks for waxed thread. A later playable role can notice one missing connection and invite another player into it. That ability is a design direction, not an extra rule in the present rehearsal.

XO Harbor · a perspective to try
A little curiosity travels further than a full trunk.
First encounter · A Fair Exchange
Places collection · first city concept · working title
Some places begin with a thing
that has travelled further than you.
A fictional trading city beyond Harbor: canal-side workshops, a covered market and a quay where repairers, makers and travellers meet. The city grows from useful exchanges rather than another shop screen.
Cabinet of Stories → an old trade card → the Visitor → Chester Quay
Inside a drawer, you find a worn card bearing the mark of Chester Quay. The Visitor recognises its maker. He can tell you where it came from—and who is still waiting for the object it once accompanied.
Chester Quay is a fictional city and a first browser-local story. Its Places Card and The Maker’s Mark are ready to explore. Your account-backed Harbor journey stays separate.
