A world needs room
to be explored.
From worlds on screen to worlds in your hand. We have chosen 146 × 89 mm, landscape for the XO World Box.

The ruler changed the decision.
The 121 × 70 mm study looked promising on screen. Measuring it made us realise how little room there would be for the tiny discoveries inside each scene. After comparing three sizes, 146 × 89 mm felt right: roughly 53% more card area, while still feeling like a card you can hold.
We kept the complete artwork. We also corrected the caption: the title and question now share the centre of the image, with the world ID and XO target at its edges.
Worlds in landscape. Characters in portrait.
A landscape World Box can open a whole scene. A future portrait Character Box could give each figure its own space. We want to explore how those two families could meet in one game; the combined rules are still to be developed.
The next test happens in our hands.
Three designs will help us evaluate a small printed proof deck: colour, caption legibility, fine detail and finish. The stock, supplier template and packaging still need to be confirmed before ordering. This is a design study, not a finished production deck.
