MADE BY ITS VOYAGERS
What would you like to bring into XO?
A curious encounter. A new way to play. A voice that makes a character feel alive. Bring your imagination, with or without AI, and make something we can try together.
A PLACE TO BEGIN · THE BOAT IN THE MIST
The light is restored.
Who arrives with the boat?
Two Voyagers are waiting on the pier. Give them one encounter, one shared choice and two possible outcomes. A small story that someone else can actually play.
30–45 minutes · 120–220 words · English

You bring the idea. We help it find a place.
01 · Make something small
Choose an open brief and become its Keeper. Use its context and template to write, sketch or prototype. AI is welcome; your taste, choices and checks make it your contribution.
02 · Show us what you made
Submit your text and, if useful, a public link to a sketch, recording or demo. Tell us what you tried, what needs work and where AI or other source material helped.
03 · Review, credit, then build
You receive feedback through the board. Accepted work gets a public result and credit; XO agrees reuse with you before integrating it. Publication in a game is a separate, tested step.
How does this work while the code is private?
These briefs give you the story context and a defined result to create. You can contribute without seeing the repository. For a technical idea, start with a standalone demo using sample data; XO can prepare a small starter or a documented interface when a specific brief needs one.
XO reviews and integrates changes in the private codebase. Your AI tools do not receive repository access, account credentials or customer data through this board. Submitting work does not trigger an automatic agent run or deployment.
Have a different idea? Bring it to XO Harbor on Discord ↗. We can discuss it and turn an agreed idea into a small brief here.
