XO HARBOR / CHARACTER 09 OF 10

The Net Mender.

A good knot brings people together.

The Net Mender works where the harbor ropes gather. She knows which loose end needs attention and which connection must leave room to move. With another pair of hands, separate contributions become something strong enough for everyone to use.

A PERSPECTIVE TO TRY
HARBOR CAST · 09

The Net Mender

“Hold this end, will you? A good knot brings things together. People too.”

What I bring: Waxed thread, patient hands and an eye for connections.
What I need: Someone to hold the other end and say where it feels strained.
What I notice: The gap between two contributions that could help each other.
My invitation: Ask someone to hold one part while you bring the pieces together.
A moment to keep: “I helped our separate contributions become something shared.”

ONE HARBOR. MANY WAYS TO BELONG.

Try this perspective in your next encounter. These prompts invite a contribution; the encounter’s own rules still apply.
